George Robert Wynus

George “Skip” Wynus, 63, a lifelong resident of Point Beach Milford, passed away on July 11, 2022. Born on April 3, 1959 in Milford, CT, he was the son of the late Mary Margaret and George R. Wynus.

Skip enjoyed a pirate life and loved the beach and water. He spent his free time boating, fishing, and listening to Jimmy Buffet. Skip was an avid NY Rangers hockey fan and was one half of the Bilge Brothers. He was a great brother and friend.

Skip is survived by his longtime girlfriend and best friend, Debbie Ferriola and her daughter Josephine; his siblings, Burt (Ruth) Wynus of Milford, Mary Ann (Wayne) Brouillette of New Hampshire, and Pat (Dean “Gus” Smith) Wynus of Clinton; and many nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends. In addition to his parents, Skip was predeceased by his brother, John Wynus.
