Henry M. Baneat

Henry M. Baneat, 88, of Milford, passed away peacefully on June 6, 2022 at home. His beloved wife, Marie, predeceased him by one month on May 6. While we will miss him beyond measure, we know that he is with his love again. Born on July 15, 1933 in Landivisiau, France, he was the son of the late August and Yvonne Baneat. Henry arrived in the U.S. in 1952 and was drafted shortly thereafter. He served in Korea from 1953-1955. He met his bride at U.S. Motors and they were married in 1957.  

Henry leaves behind his children, Lisa (William Soda) Wilcock, Michael (Mary Stapleton) Baneat, and Ann Walsh; ten wonderful grandchildren; five adoring great grandchildren (and three on the way); and many extended family and friends. He was predeceased by his son-in-law, Daniel Walsh and his sister, Marie-France Contenet.

A Graveside Service will be held on Saturday, June 11, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. at the Kings Highway Cemetery, 271 Cherry St., Milford (MEET DIRECTLY AT CEMETERY). The family is being compassionately cared for by the staff at Cody-White Funeral Home 107 Broad Street, Milford, CT 06460. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
