Henry M. Goldbach, Jr., 95, of Milford, beloved husband of the late Mildred (Murphy) Goldbach, passed away peacefully on May 13, 2022. Born on October 2, 1926 in Bridgeport, CT, he was the son of the late Henry and Helen (Grossman) Goldbach, Sr. He grew up in Trumbull and was a resident of Milford since 1951.
Following graduation from Bassick High School, Hank proudly served his country in the United States Navy Seabees during WWII. He was employed by US Motors for several years before establishing his excavating business. He thoroughly enjoyed his work but above all he was devoted to his family.
He is survived by his children, Kathleen Goldbach of Milford and Charles Goldbach (Carol Hannon) of Southbury; his grandchildren, Nicholas and Elizabeth; sister-in-law Marian Murphy of Shelton; and several nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, May 24, 2022 at 10:30 a.m. at Saint Mary Church (Precious Blood Parish) 70 Gulf St., Milford. Friends and family are invited to call from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., at the Church, prior to the service. Interment will follow at Saint Mary Cemetery, Buckingham Avenue, Milford, CT.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Precious Blood Parish (please note the John Rigley Food Pantry on the memo line). The family is being cared for by the staff of Cody-White Funeral Home 107 Broad St., Milford, CT.
