I was saddened to see in the UNL Alpha Xi Delta newsletter that Holly had passed. I was a freshman in college and Holly was the pledge trainer. She was so kind and funny. I haven’t seen or kept in contact with Holly since college but her kindness left a lasting impression on me. My sympathies.

To the Bonessi Family,
I was shocked to hear of Holly''s passing, and had planned to attend her services, but was too ill with the flu. Holly was the most warm and funny colleague anyone could want. Her smile, laugh and bubbly personality lit up a room. She welcomed me to Simon Lake School several years ago, and I have many great memories of working with her. In fact, I had just been relating the story of the turtle she brought home every summer to a colleague, when I read this news. I am truly sorry for your loss, and share in your pain. The world is a sadder, and less colorful place without Holly.

Holly was an absolute sweetheart; thoughtful, generous and kind. Beautiful, creative and stylish, yet she always put you at ease with her warmth and fun loving spirit. We will miss her dearly .

This morning's tribute to Holly was beautiful. I am sure it would have been exactly what Holly would have wanted. Not only was I honored to serve this morning but honored to sub for Holly last year. Her students admired her and missed her greatly. Her spirit will live on forever . God bless.

Barry my old friend I feel deep pain for you it's tough enough losing a Parent but we are almost ready for that but to losing your best friend, partner , your strength when you are weak this pain never really goes away. tomorrow will give you closer but GOD and your best friends will be there for you.

I want to extend my deepest sympathy to you and your family on your loss. I lost my mom to cancer 29 years ago so I kind of know what your going through. The only relief I found was that she didn't have to suffer any longer. It's difficult at first but strength from family helps a lot.
