Fond memories of Jim and your whole family are a big part of our family's wonderful neighbors through all the years of growing up on Laurel beach. I never flew with him, but we both had stories about our time in the Air Force and his help when when I worked at the Walnut Beach post office one Christmas while I was in college. Your loss is a hard one ,but your memories will last a lifetime. God Bless to all.

I worked with Dan Trapp in the Zoning Dept. for many years, and I wanted to send my deepest
condolences to Dan and to the whole family on the passing of his Dad. We would talk about our parents a lot - I lost my Mom 13 months ago, and I would always ask Dan how his father was doing. It sounds like his Dad was a terrific, fun person - just a wonderful father, husband, grandfather, and person. Just know that he appreciated everything you did for him in his later years, when he had to be more dependent on you for companionship and help getting things done. I know you will miss him, as I still miss my Mother as well as my Father.
Remember all the good times you shared together.
With My Deepest Sympathy,
Cindy Guarnieri

My sincerest condolences to the Trapp family on their lost. Although I had the privilege of only meeting Mr. Trapp once, his deep joy of life and desire to always become better through learning and staying active came through so authentically. In life, we all endure many challenges and at times perhaps even lose faith in others, in our religion and even in ourselves but through the stories that I've heard, I know that Mr. Trapp's zest for life most certainly was the beacon of light and courage for those he loved through all times.
There's a Buddhist quote that comes to mind that reflects the impression of the life I think Mr. Trapp lived and the gift he left behind. "Each morning we are born again. What we do today is what matters most".

I am very sorry to hear about the loss, of your dad. I always called him Mr. Trapp he was a thoughtful person that always took the time, to talk with me about any subject it didn't matter what. I will always remember him on the sea wall with his binoculars looking out at the ocean or riding his bike around in the summer at laurel beach. He will be greatly missed .
