Jeanne E. Desrosiers, 87, of Milford, beloved wife of Raymond Desrosiers, passed away peacefully on October 8, 2018. Jeanne was born on January 25, 1931, in Bridgeport, CT, to the late Riccardo and Mary Nancy DiLella.
Jeanne was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother and proud of her Italian heritage. Her passion was gardening and caring for her plants. She loved to host large family cookouts, playing cards, collecting Emmett Kelley figurines and baking her famous anisette cookies. Jeanne also loved participating in her grandchildren’s lives from babysitting, parties, ballgames, and school events. She was always there when needed and will be greatly missed.
In addition to her husband Raymond, Jeanne leaves behind her children, Paul (Patricia) Dufresne, Debra (Raymond) Bourque and Suzanne (Steven) Carriero; grandchildren, Paul Dufresne, Jr., Andrea (Chris) Abercrombie, Michelle Dufresne, Andrew (Jennie) Bourque, Daniel Bourque, Kenneth Bourque and Alex Carriero; great grandchildren, Jada Dufresne and Tyler Dufresne; brother, William (Lois) DiLella, and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her first husband, Maurice Dufresne, her siblings, Alexander, Rose, Patricia, Virginia, Richard and their spouses.
Friends and family are invited to call on Saturday, October 13, 2018 from 4 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. with a Memorial Service to conclude at 5:30 p.m. at the CODY-WHITE FUNERAL HOME, 107 Broad St., Milford, CT. Memorial contributions may be made to The Connecticut Hospice Inc., Shelton, CT. (Hospice.com).
