Jeffrey Noack Parker, 68, of Milford, beloved husband of Karen Koenig Kohler-Parker, passed away on April 6, 2018. Jeff was born on April 28, 1949 in Stamford, CT to Robert Parker and the late Edith Strittmatter Parker.
Jeff graduated from Stamford High School and went on to receive Bachelor’s Degrees in both political science and business followed by a Master’s Degree in business. He held certificates for paralegal services, financial advising and accounting. Jeff enjoyed the times he spent working at Marx Toys, Perkin-Elmer, MBI, and Milford Hospital. His passions included traveling, visiting art galleries and museums, and rooting for the Red Sox. Jeff thoroughly enjoyed reading; his favorite genres were autobiographies or anything relating to history or art. He was an avid book collector; he liked going to book fairs and had a huge personal library. He was a kind, caring, and gentle man who loved spending time with his family. He had a huge heart and loved to help others, most notably when he stepped in as caregiver to his late wife, Annabella Catalano. His presence will be missed but never forgotten.
In addition to his cherished wife, Karen, Jeff is survived by his step-children, Bill, Katie, and Elizabeth Kohler; his sister, Judy Parker Cohen; his nephew, Joshua Parker Cohen; his brother-in-law, Fred (Tina) Koenig; his mother-in-law, Kathe “Oma” Koenig; his aunt, Selma Parker Ruggiero; and other loving nephews and nieces. He was predeceased by his first wife, Annabella Catalano; and brother-in-law, Bill Cohen.
Friends and family may call from 4 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. with a Memorial Service at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, April 12, 2018 at the CODY-WHITE FUNERAL HOME, 107 Broad St., Milford, CT.
