John Collucci, 65 of Milford, CT, beloved father and brother passed away peacefully on February 27, 2018. Born on June 22, 1952 in Milford, he was the son of the late Carmen and Phyllis Collucci.
John graduated from Milford High where he played football and baseball. He grew up working in the family business Collucci Brothers Construction. In recent years, he was the owner and operator of Collucci Consultants.
John had a deep appreciation in the arts, music and nature. From his perspective, he found glory in the shape of a tree or a grain of a piece of wood, sunlight thru the trees and the power of the wind and waves as a storm is approaching. A patch of “Hen of the woods” (mushrooms) growing under a tree to the composition of a rock formation. John had the ability to see beauty in things that many of us take for granted.
He enjoyed many music festivals with family and friends, a trek in the woods, sunsets on the beach and slow drives in the snow. He was the creator of many Bonsai and pencil drawings in his “Color outside the lines” theory.
John is survived by his son Giancarlo Collucci, brother Thomas Collucci (Susan), his twin sister Paulette Reynolds (Paul), sisters Donna Collucci-Molloy and Terri Collucci (Dave). As well as being Uncle to many nieces and nephews.
