John S Madsen

John S. Madsen, 97, of Orange, beloved husband of Freda Ludemann Madsen, passed away peacefully on April 7, 2018. John was born on June 22, 1920 in New Haven, CT to the late Jens and Anna Rasmussen Madsen.

John proudly served his country in the United States Army Air Corps. during WWII.

In addition to his wife, Freda, John is survived by his son, David Madsen; grandchildren, Daniel and Sarah Madsen; brother, Christian E. Madsen; and several nieces and nephews. John was predeceased by his sisters, Marion Bruch and Elsie Hansen.

The family is being compassionately cared for by the staff of CODY-WHITE FUNERAL HOME, 107 Broad St., Milford, CT. All services will be held at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Salvation Army at www.salvationarmyusa.org/usn/.
