Joseph Thomas Lynn

Joseph Thomas Lynn, 67, of Milford, passed away on June 25, 2020. Born on December 18, 1952 in New York, NY he was the son of the late William and Angelina (Masiello) Lynn.

Joe graduated from Bryant High School in Queens, New York.  He worked at The Associated Press in Manhattan, New York for over 25 years.  He moved to Milford, Connecticut to be closer to family in 1998.  He enjoyed playing Strat-O-Matic and watching sports.  He was very devoted to his family and was kind, generous, compassionate and loyal.

He is predeceased by father, William Lynn, his mother, Angelina Lynn, his sister, Rose Marie Lynn and sister-in-law, Antoinette (Pitoscia) Lynn.

He is survived by his brother, William Lynn, sister-in-law, Janice Lynn, nephew Thomas Lynn, and Jeanette Vecere, and numerous cousins.  He was an animal lover.

There will be a Memorial Service at Calvary Church of the Christian & Missionary Alliance 273 Orange Ave, Milford, Connecticut 06461 on Saturday July 18th at 11:00 AM with an outside reception to follow. Because of the current situation the Memorial Service will be live streamed on Facebook, and those attending will need to observe social distancing and wear face coverings.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Calvary Church at 273 Orange Avenue in Milford, CT or Harbour Light Baptist Church at 380 Boston Post Road, Suite 8, Orange, CT or the Beth-El Homeless Shelter and Soup Kitchen at 90 New Haven Avenue Milford, CT.
