Julia Alberta Bonini, 88, of West Haven, beloved wife of the late Nicholas Bonini, passed away peacefully on November 29, 2017. Born on April 16, 1929 in Greenport, Long Island, NY, she was the daughter of the late Marie and Alexander Sokol.   

Julia is survived by her children, Stephen Bonini and Susan (Richard Piche) Bonini; grandchildren, Christopher Bonini, Marie (Joshua) Urbano, Stephen Bonini, Sherie (Garrett) Lamountain, and Richard (Melissa) Piche; twelve great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews, especially Barbara Cain, with whom she had a close bond with. Julia was predeceased by her daughter-in-law, Marcia Bonini; brother, Bruno; and sister, Helen.

All services will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Julia’s name may be made to the West Haven Animal Shelter, 7 Collis Street, West Haven, CT, 06516.
