Laurence P. Hagan

Born: Chicago IL, 1942

Died: Scottsdale, AZ June 9, 2021

Larry fought the good fight against cancer and was called home his heavenly father on June 9, 2021.

He is survived by his beloved and lovely devoted wife of 32 years, Joanna M. Hagan, half-brother, Joseph Ronan, (Colleen), sister Jackie (Larry) Simon, brother Ken Hagan as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was proceeded in death by his parents, Earl, and Lillian Hagan.

 He was a man of high energy, many talents, and a positive attitude.  He has degrees in electrical engineering from Northwestern University, Il, and an associate degree in distribution. He also has a master’s degree with honors from DePaul University, IL. Larry worked as an electrical engineer and as a professor of mathematics, computer science and economics and taught at the University of Phoenix, Mesa Community College and DeVry University. He also worked part-time for Macy’s for 20 years, drove for Uber and worked as a substitute Teacher for the Paradise Valley School District.

Larry served his church community by being a Life teen guardian, usher, and Fourth Degree Knights of Columbus. He will be very much missed by his family, friends, and church members.
