Lenke Buda

Lenke Buda, 89, of Derby, passed away on April 17, 2022 at the Bridgeport hospital. Born on August 12, 1932 in Lonya, Hungary, she was the daughter of the late Karoly and Jolan Nagy. She finished her schooling and married and divorced in Hungary. She came to the United States in 1976. She married John Buda of Fairfield and divorced in 1996.

Lenke loved to travel and took many cruises with her daughter. She lived with her and loved gardening cooking and especially baking Hungarian pastries. She enjoyed entertainment and casinos in CT.

Lenke is survived by her only child, daughter Lenke Kiss; stepson, Frank; sisters, Joli, Etelka and Iren; and close friends, Ildi and Joe Klicsu, Kati Borko and Margit Paskanskas. She was predeceased by her granddaughter, Jennifer Kiss and her sister Olga.

Family and friends are invited to gather on Tuesday, April 26, 2022 from 12:30 to 1:30 at the Cody-White Funeral Home 107 Broad Street, Milford, CT 06460. A Graveside Service will follow at 2 pm. at Kings Highway Cemetery, 271 Cherry St., Milford.
