Linda (Beebe) DeLeo, 82, of Milford, passed away on November 17, 2022. Born on January 17, 1940 in New Haven, she was the daughter of the late Clifford C. and Flora B. Beebe. Linda graduated from Milford High School and attended Lasalle Junior College. After college Linda worked as a fashion coordinator for the Firelight Shop and Malleys Deapartment Store. In the 1980’s Linda graduated from Bullard Havens and received her licenses as a hairdresser and a barber. She cut hair for over 40 years and had quite a following. Her clients turned into her best friends. She was also very creative thru-out her life and loved turning thrift store items into the latest fashion. Most recently she enjoyed spending time with her family and grandchildren, wrote hand-written letters to distant friends and family and spent time sharing old photographs. She was a devoted mother, sister and friend and will be missed by many.
Linda leaves behind her daughters, Dawn (DeLeo) Puchala and Lorin DeLeo; grandchildren, William Puchala Jr., Joseph Puchala, and Jessica Caramanica; great grandchildren, Ava and Cole Vano; sister, Alison Luciani and her husband Adolph; her cherished cats, Lilly and Ashes; as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.
All services will be private per Linda’s wishes. The family is being compassionately cared for by the staff at Cody-White Funeral Home 107 Broad Street, Milford, CT 06460. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
