Lois A. Chevett

Lois A. Chevett, 89, of Seymour, beloved wife of the late Ernest J. Chevett, passed away peacefully on April 11, 2018. Lois was born on January 5, 1929 in Milford, CT, to the late Roy and Hazel Allison.

Lois leaves behind her daughters, Linda (David) Sobocinski and Karen (Robert) Ahlers; sons, Paul (Susan) Chevett, William (Carolann) Chevett, Mark (Cynthia) Chevett and Ronald (Lynn) Chevett; daughter-in-law, Deborah Chevett; many grandchildren, several great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; sisters, Audrey McOrmond, Carol Gissel and Janet Fulton. Lois also leaves behind her significant other, Art Paiva and her sister at heart, Wanda Lutostanski. Lois was predeceased by her son, Michael Chevett; brothers, Hugh, John, Roy and Arthur Allison and her sisters, Eileen Komosinski, Kathleen Sotnik, June Allison and Rita Kapinos.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, April 16, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Mary Church, 70 Gulf St., Milford, CT (MEET DIRECTLY AT CHURCH). Burial will be private. Friends and family are invited to call on Sunday, April 15, 2018 from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the CODY-WHITE FUNERAL HOME, 107 Broad St., Milford, CT.
