I only met Maren once but she grew up with my boyfriend, Brendan. They were best friends. The way he talked about her made me feel like I knew her. So was so sweet and loving and I still thing about her everyday. R.I.P. Beautiful <3

Everyone is so saddened. I am also feeling pretty heartbroken. I didn't even know this young woman or her family. But the news has struck me like nothing else. May she rest in peace and her family gather strength to continue. Her memory will live on forever.

I have never met Maren nor any of her family or friends, but as this tragic story has made national headlines it was difficult not to pay attention. As a concerned citizen of CT, I just wanted to offer my sincerest condolences and heartfelt sympathies to your entire family. In reading the obituary for Maren, it is apparent that she was a very special young lady and not only is it a loss for those that knew her, but I believe a loss for those that had not met her yet. I am a musician and whenever this world loses someone with artistic talent of any kind, it is the world's loss. May God take Maren into His kingdom where her spirit may continue to shine for all eternity and may God offer solace to those who've been affected the most, family & friends, during this tragedy. My only wish is that something positive can come from this event so that THIS DOES NOT HAPPEN EVER AGAIN to anyone's child....!! Much love & respect to the family.

Although I did not know Maren, I feel like I have come to know a great deal about her over the past few days. This is a hard time for you and to lose a child so young is hard I know. But what gives me hope in times like these is reflecting on revelation 21:4 " And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away. " and also john 5:28,29 "do not marvel at this, because the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out, those who did good things to a resurrection of life.
