Margaret Mary (Darcy) Cushman

Margaret Mary Cushman, 93, of Milford, beloved wife of the late Kenneth L. Cushman, Jr., passed away peacefully on June 29, 2018. Born on September 11, 1924 in Fall River, MA, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Mary Duffy Darcy.

Margaret worked for many years at Alexander’s Department Store prior to her retirement and volunteered her time at Milford Hopsital. She was an excellent homemaker and caregiver. She will be greatly missed. The family would like to thank Milford Health Care for their exceptional care and compassion.

Margaret is survived by her children; Nancy (David) Cioffi and Patricia Cushman; and her grandsons, Kenneth and James Cioffi. In addition to her beloved husband, Kenneth, Margaret was predeceased by her brother, Thomas Darcy.

Friends and family may call on Monday, July 2, 2018 from 10:15 a.m. to 11:15 a.m. at the CODY-WHITE FUNERAL HOME, 107 Broad St., Milford, CT. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 12 p.m. at Saint Mary Church (Precious Blood Parish), 70 Gulf St., Milford. Interment will follow at Saint Mary Cemetery, Buckingham Ave., Milford. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Bridgeport Hospital Foundation Center for Geriatrics, 267 Grant St., Bridgeport, CT 06610.
