Marie T. Turcotte

Marie Theresa Turcotte, 94, of Milford, beloved wife of the late Lawrence M. Turcotte, passed away peacefully on April 25, 2018. Born on October 10, 1923 in Woonsocket, RI, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Doralice Bergeron Joly.  

Marie loved spending time with her family. She participated in various church choirs as well as the Senior Center choir and also enjoyed dancing. Her presence will be missed but never forgotten.

Marie is survived by her daughters, Lorraine (Kevin) Leydon and Francine (Francis) Kelly; grandchildren, Nicole (John) Richard, Jason (Jocelyn) Leydon, and Jessica and Kathryn Kelly; great grandchildren, Lydon, Luke, Abigail, and Camden; son-in-law, Ron Machado and his children, Tauni (Alan) Schaffer and Scott (Denise) Machado; and many extended family and friends. Marie was predeceased by her children, Rachel Machado and Lawrence Turcotte; four sisters; and two brothers.

All services will be private. The family is being compassionately cared for by the staff at the CODY-WHITE FUNERAL HOME, 107 Broad St., Milford, CT 06460. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Marie’s name to a charity of one’s choice.
