Marion C. Carlo

Marion Carlo, 89, of West Haven CT, beloved widow of the late William Carlo, passed away peacefully on Friday, April 22, 2022. She was born on April 5, 1933, in Brooklyn, NY. She was the daughter of the late Karl and Eleanor Hobert. Marion lived many years in Willimantic, CT and later the family moved to Bridgeport. She lived in Bridgeport for 40 years, moving to Orange later in life.

Marion worked for Reads Department store and later Jordan Marsh and Macys. She enjoyed spending time with her family and vacationing with friends at Cape Cod. Marion was an accomplished seamstress, enjoyed reading, doing crossword and jigsaw puzzles, and listening to all types of music. Her greatest pleasure was doing things for others.

Marion is survived by her daughter Christal and her husband Wayne Brown of Milford and her son Clifford Carlo of Bridgeport. She leaves 3 grandchildren, Amy Bellon, Lindsey Loren, and Ryan Carlo. She also leaves five great grand children. She will be greatly missed by her loving sister Karleen Cervino, and brothers, William Hobert and Paul Hobert and his wife Carol . She also leaves behind several nieces and nephews, especially her niece Laura Cervino, who held a special place in her heart. 

The family would like to extend their gratitude to the staff of Seacrest Assisted Living and Memory care facility for their compassionate care of Marion. 

A gathering of family and friends will take place on Saturday, June 11, 2022 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the CODY-WHITE FUNERAL HOME, 107 BROAD STREET, MILFORD, CT 06460.
