Mary Zingaro, 88, of Milford, beloved wife of the late Albert Zingaro, passed away peacefully at her home embraced by the love of her family on Saturday, January 8, 2022. Born on July 17, 1933 in Brooklyn, NY, she was the daughter of the late Angelo and Josephine Esposito.
Mary was a graceful woman, a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was known for her delicious cooking and hospitality for all who visited or stopped in. She always had an extra seat at her table and welcomed all. Her house was the center of many family gatherings.
She had a fulfilling career at Country Home Bakers and when she retired, she became a member of the Milford Garden Club, Room Grandmother, and Volunteer at Saint Mary School. Mary enjoyed many luncheons and craft days with friends. Mary was kind and loving to everyone, and never too busy to enjoy a good conversation.
Mary is survived by her children, Linda Davies, Donna Zingaro, and Alan (Ann Marie) Zingaro; her grandchildren, Brenda (Lisa) Davies, Marissa (Kyle) Lavin, and Bethany (Will) Zoufaly; great grandchildren, Siena and Tucker; sister, Lillian Greco; sister-in-law, Rose Zingaro; and numerous loving nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her son-in-law, Jospeh Davies; brothers-in-law, Angelo Zingaro, Joseph Greco, and Blaise Tramazzo; and sister-in-law, Gloria Tramazzo.
Mary was deeply loved and will be missed dearly.
Family and friends are invited to gather on Friday, January 14, 2022 from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the CODY-WHITE FUNERAL HOME, 107 Broad St., Milford, CT. Masks will be required. Burial will follow at Saint Mary Cemetery, Buckingham Ave., Milford. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Parkinson’s Foundation.
