Tribute

Michael John Suech, 62 years of age, of Milford, CT, passed away peacefully in Bridgeport Hospital on May 8, 2020. Born on March 18, 1958, he was the son of the late Albert John and Catherine Elizabeth (Vossler) Suech.

Michael leaves behind his most precious and cherished gifts, son William (Bill) Albert and daughter Erin Elizabeth Suech; siblings, Kevin (Diane) Suech and Patricia McFarland; former spouse and friend Karen Brozdowski; nieces Katie, Kellie, Claudia, Colleen and Courtney, and many extended family and friends. He was predeceased by his infant brother, Francis.

Mike was employed by Sikorsky Lockheed Martin as Area Control Dispatcher and worked there for 32 years. He worked in both the Bridgeport and Stratford plants throughout his career and loved playing softball and bowling in the company’s intermural leagues. He had many friends and colleagues who knew him for his sense of humor, and his loyalty to the NY Jets and NY Mets. Mike was also an active member of the Milford Elks Club #1589.

Prior to that, Mike worked at Brewster Lumber Yard in Milford, CT where he formed many meaningful relationships and shared his life and laughter with the infamous “Brewster Gang” on the Top of the Hill. Mike was an avid athlete both as a player and spectator. He loved playing volleyball, tennis and softball and cherished his time as a member of the No Names softball team.

Mike’s favorite times were spent teaching and watching his children Billy and Erin grow as they learned the skills and lessons of life, sports, and religion. Mike proudly attended their town league, school league, and high school sports games and never missed their awards events. He took great pride in Billy and Erin. He was their biggest fan, making sure he always had his camera and found the best seat, in order to capture those special moments. Mike was also a devout member of St. Agnes Church and Precious Blood Parish, where he attended weekly mass with both his children.

Burial will be private. Services will be held at a later date. The family is being compassionately cared for by the staff at the Cody-White Funeral Home, 107 Broad Street, Milford, CT 06460. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Precious Blood Parish.
