Nadia H. Taylor, 88, recently of Shelton, CT formerly of Hartsdale, NY, passed away on September 4, 2021. Born on September 14, 1932 in Wembley, England, she was the daughter of the late Ted and Jane (Weinstein) Jacobson.
She was married to the man who could make her laugh the most, William Taylor for nearly 50 years, who preceded her in death in 2006.
She was a wonderfully creative mother, grandmother and great grandmother who lived life filled with joy, a never ending curiosity to travel the world and a sometimes twisted sense of humor. She loved art, cooking and eating (fancy) food and laughing. She was an avid theater goer, master gardener, happy bridge player and excellent shopper. Family holidays were her pride and joy and everything was homemade. We will all miss her love of life.
Nadia is survived by her children; a daughter, Andrea L. Taylor, of Los Angeles; a son, Michael L. Taylor, of Milford, and his wife, Sondra; five grandchildren, Amanda Taylor (Marc Magnotta), Emily Bednarz (Christopher Bednarz), Charlie Taylor, Molly Taylor (Kurt Wehr) and Morgan Taylor and Great Grandson, Harrison Magnotta .
All services will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to your favorite charity in her honor.
