Olga S. Kupson, 95, of Milford, passed away peacefully on August 10, 2017 at home surrounded by her loving family. She was born on March 24, 1922 in Bayonne, NJ to the late Wasil and Helena Stahurska Shirin. She was the beloved wife of the late Michael P. Kupson for 68 years, whom she met while working as a secretary at Chance Vought in Stratford during WWII.

Olga enjoyed a lengthy career in retail until her retirement from the former Town Squire, Ltd., in downtown Milford. Olga will be remembered for her devotion to family and friends, her kind and caring ways, and her beautiful smile. She was also an exceptional cook who loved entertaining, gardening, and needle-work. As an avid exerciser, she enjoyed long walks, swimming, yoga, and especially ballroom dancing with the “love of her life”.

She is survived by her four children, Elayne Stratz, Michael D. (June) Kupson, Patricia (Lee) Warncke, and Maureen Zimmerman. In addition, she leaves behind five grandchildren, Michelle Gore, Erika Zimmerman, David Warncke, Paula Connito, and Sara Warncke. She was predeceased by her infant daughter, Sandra; her sister, Stephanie Sarles; and her brother, William Shirin.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, August 17, 2017 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Mary’s Church, 70 Gulf St., Milford.
