Pauline Murphy Zientek, 93, of Milford, beloved wife of the late Walter M. Zientek, passed away peacefully on September 23, 2017. Born on August 14, 1924 in Milford, she was the daughter of the late Anthony and Esther Swiderski. Pauline was a member of the Milford Senior Center, the 50+ club at Saint Ann Church and a former member of the Naugatuck Gardens Ladies Association. She was a kind and gentle soul who is now at peace and will be missed by all who knew her. Pauline is survived by her children, Janice M. (John) Jackson, Thomas C. (Christine) Murphy, Jr., Sharon M. (James) Feero, Patricia M. (John) Sember, and Lori M. (Andrew) Starrett; grandchildren, Thomas (Serena) Murphy III, Michelle (Eric) Peet, Shelley (Michael) Ryan, James (Samantha) Feero, Jr., John Sember IV, Steven Sember, and Chance Starrett; great-grandchildren, Joseph and Eric, Jr. Peet, Cooper Ryan, and Kole Feero; siblings, Esther Grant and Anthony Swiderski; step children, Walter (Wendy) Zientek, and Steven Zientek; step-grandchildren, Jamie (Louis) DeFelice and Cory (Stephen) Sekelsky; step-great-grandchildren, Julia and Jakson Sekelsky and Madelyn and Louis III DeFelice; many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Pauline was predeceased by six siblings; daughter, Charlene M. Murphy; her first husband, Thomas C. Murphy, Sr. The family would like to extend their gratitude to the staff at Carriage Green at Milford for their exceptional care and compassion. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, September 27, 2017 at 11 a.m. at Saint Ann Church, 501 Naugatuck Ave., Milford. Interment will be private.
