Raymond T. Carroll

Raymond T. Carroll, of Milford, CT, beloved husband of Denise Dirga Carroll passed away suddenly on November 30, 2022 at the young age of 52, after a long battle with cancer. 

Ray & Denise have 3 sons, Michael, Jonathan and Andrew Carroll. 

Ray was born in Bridgeport, CT on December 14, 1969 to Frank and Patricia Carroll of Bonita Springs, FL and Shelton, CT. Ray was the younger brother of Frank J. Carroll III and Uncle to Frank’s children, Molly, Erin, and Frank IV. Ray was the older brother of Amy Lynn Carroll D’Amico (Michael). Ray was the Uncle to Alexandra & Emma. 

Ray was the son-in-law of Peter John  Dirga (Ray was predeceased by his mother-in-law, Sharon Browning Dirga). Ray was the brother-in-law of Michelle Dirga Murphy (Richard) and their children, Madison and Jake; and brother-in-law of Leigh Dirga. Ray was also Uncle to Jennifer Murphy Berez (Aaron) & their 1st son Callen.

Ray was loved by his many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, employees & acquaintances, he had met throughout his life. 

Ray was the co-owner of All Electric & AECSolar for 25 years, originally established in Milford CT, then relocated to West Haven, CT. He was a member of IBEW Local 488 for 35 years, and a member of the National Electrical Contractors Association. He was a member of Echo Hose, Seymour and Derby Ambulance Co. and The Elks Clubs for over 10 years. Ray was an anonymous and generous donor to many people and organizations. When Ray would make a joke or embellish on a subject, he’d always say he knows because he’s “Ray the Great”, at that comment he would have everyone laughing, Ray called himself that name at every possible opportunity … always to be sure he got a chuckle out of everyone around him! Ray wasn’t much into sports with the exception of NASCAR Racing & his beloved New England Patriots! He will be dearly missed by all who have come to know him, along with being always & forever loved by his family & closest friends.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, December 7, 2022 at 11am at Saint Agnes Church (Precious Blood Parish) 400 Merwin Ave., Milford, CT (MEET DIRECTLY AT CHURCH). Interment will be private. Friends and family may call from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, December 6, 2022 at the CODY-WHITE FUNERAL HOME, 107 BROAD ST., MILFORD, CT. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of choice.
