Richard X. Iannazzi

Richard X. Iannazzi, 82, of Seymour, passed away on November 11, 2022. Born on February 10, 1940 in Stamford, Connecticut, he was the son of the late Albert Iannazzi and Margaret (Coviello) Iannazzi.

Richard was a musician and music educator, Human resource director, an avid reader, photographer and cook. He bred Samoyeds, loved the arts and dancing. He enjoyed muscle cars and vacationing in Italy.

Richard is survived by his loving companion, Sandy Paulter; father figure to Dawn Markelon and Sherri (Dan) Keefe; his grandchildren, Marissa Markelon, Jessica Markelon, Kaylee Keefe, Dylan Keefe, and Brody Keefe; his sibling, Dee Coviello; sister-in-law, Connie Iannazzi; his uncle, Louis Iannazzi; his nephews, Edward (Maria) Iannazzi, and Frank Iannazzi. In addition to his parents, Richard was predeceased by his brother, Edward Iannazzi and his son, William.

A Memorial Mass will be held on Dec 9, 2022 at 12:30pm at St. Mary Church, 70 Gulf St., Milford, CT (MEET DIRECTLY AT CHUCH). Interment will be private. The family is being compassionately cared for by Cody-White Funeral Home, 107 Broad St., Milford, CT.
