Rose M. Mancini, 98, of Milford, beloved wife of the late P. William Mancini, passed away peacefully on April 10, 2018. Born on January 29, 1920 in Bridgeport, she was the daughter of the late James and Mary Faia.  

Rose graduated from Walnut Beach Elementary School and Milford High School. She was employed over a span of fifty years as a secretary at Milford Electric Company, Manor Tool & Die Co, and Eye Associates, Inc. Rose volunteered her time for several years serving Milford’s Beth El Homeless Shelter as well as supporting Saint Gabriel Parish. She formed a friendship club with several couples in Waterbury, CT and loved socializing with them often. In her spare time, Rose enjoyed playing the piano, sewing and knitting and cooking for her friends and family. She also enjoyed traveling with her husband within the U.S. and living in Europe for several months. Her presence will be missed, but never forgotten.

Rose is survived by her children, Linda (Robert) Williams, William V. (Diane) Mancini, and James M. (Deborah) Mancini; four grandchildren; four great grandchildren; and sisters, Virginia Allen and Teresa DeLeo. Rose was predeceased by her sister, Lydia Reysen.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, April 13, 2018, at 11 a.m. at Saint Gabriel Church (Saint Raphael Parish), 26 Broadway, Milford (MEET DIRECTLY AT CHURCH). Interment will be private. The family is being compassionately cared for by the staff at the CODY-WHITE FUNERAL HOME, 107 Broad St., Milford, CT 06460.
