Rosemary Gosselin Scarpa

Rosemary Gosselin Scarpa, 88, of Milford, beloved wife of the late Lewis W. Scarpa Jr., passed away on May 22, 2018. Rose was born on March 25, 1930 in New Haven, CT to the late Edward and Anna Gosselin.

For many years, Rose was the Registrar of Voters in Milford. She was a very active parishioner of St. Agnes Church and loved to sing.

Rose leaves behind her sister, Theresa Gosselin Austiguy and her husband George; her nephew, George Austiguy and his wife Cindy; and her niece, Bridget Austiguy-Peschel and her husband David. In addition to her husband, Lewis, Rose was predeceased by her son, Douglas Scarpa; and her siblings, Rita Gosselin Ciak, Maureen Gosselin Pelatowski, Edward Gosselin and Joan Gosselin.

Friends and family are invited to call on Wednesday, June 13, 2018 from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the CODY-WHITE FUNERAL HOME, 107 Broad St., Milford, CT. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:30 a.m. at St. Agnes Church, 400 Merwin Ave., Milford, CT. Interment will be private.
