Ryan Carole Smith

Ryan Carole Smith, age 33, of Beacon Falls, passed away Saturday, February 6, 2021 surrounded by the love of her immediate family. Beloved wife of Joel Navarro. She was the daughter of Guy and Deborah (Findley) Smith. Born in Meriden, Connecticut on October 6, 1987.

Ryan was a graduate of Brookfield High School. She helped run her family's construction businesses. She enjoyed spending her free time with family and spoiling her niece and nephews. She loved being home with her husband, Joel, and their dog, Sophie. A wife, daughter, step mom, sister, aunt and friend, she was loved by everyone who was blessed to know her.

In addition to her husband Joel, and her parents Guy and Debbie, Ryan is survived by her siblings, Guy (Dana) Smith, Chelsey (Robert) Carbone; her nephews, Bobby Carbone, Guy Smith III (G3) and Mila Smith; her step daughters, Valerie Navarro and Yarielys Alvarado; her mother-in-law, Irma Centeno, maternal grandmother, Shirley Findley; several aunts and uncles; and her many loving cousins. 

In light of the circumstances surrounding Ryan’s death (Covid) we have made the decision not to have calling hours. Ryan was adamant about keeping her family safe from this horrific virus.

We would love nothing more than meeting every single person who was in Ryan’s life but we know she would never want anyone in harm’s way. 

A private burial with family will be held. 

In lieu of flowers, please send any donations in Ryan’s name to The Coronavirus Response Fund for Nurses to help the amazing hero’s, like the ones that have helped Ryan in her final days and hours.
