Seelawathi Anula (Paranatale) Dawlagala

Seelawathi Anula Dawlagala, 96, of Orange, beloved wife of the late Chandra Dawlagala, passed away on July 21, 2019. She was born on June 7, 1923 in Kandy, Sri Lanka.

Seelawathi has been a resident of USA for over 30 years. She spent much of her life dedicated to raising her family. She was kind and generous and was always trying to feed those she loved and loved to help those in need. Seelawathi also found much joy in gardening and caring for her grandchildren. She will be greatly missed.

Seelawathi is survived by her children, Nimal (Umanga) Dawlagala, Shanthi (Sydney) Silva, and Keerthi (Indrani) Dawlagala; her grandchildren, Sanjeeva Marc Silva, Ruwan A. (Danielle) Silva, Asanga Silva, Nadeera Dawlagala, Priyani Dawlagala, and Dharshini Dawlagala; her great grandchildren, Xavier and Ambrose. In addition to her parents and husband, Seelawathi was predeceased by her sister, Indra Kumari Paranatale, and her uncle, Abeyarathna Banda Paranatale.

Family and friends may call on Friday, July 26, 2019 from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the CODY-WHITE FUNERAL HOME, 107 N. Broad St., Milford, CT. Interment will be private.
