Sheila R. Dean

Sheila R. Dean, 76, of Milford, beloved wife of James M. Dean, passed away on February 14, 2021. Sheila was born on February 10, 1945 in New Haven, CT, the daughter of the late George and Delia Rogers. 

Sheila received her Masters degree in education at Southern Connecticut State University and her post graduate degree in Special Education at NYU. Sheila was a special education teacher at St. Gabriel School in Milford until her retirement in June of 2006.

Sheila is survived by her Husband James, Daughter Christine and Son-in-law Brett Hungerford, Son James and Daughter-in-law Jennifer; Granddaughter Reilly Hungerford and Grandson Maxwell Dolor.

Family and friends are invited to attend a walk-through wake on Monday, February 22 from 9 to 11 at the Cody-White Funeral Home, 107 Broad St., Milford, CT. A Funeral Service will commence at 10:30 a.m. Due to gathering size restrictions, only a limited number of people will be allowed in the building at one time. Masks and social distancing are required. Burial will be private.
