Susan Marie Reed

Susan Marie Reed, 56, of West Haven, passed away on April 4, 2018. Susan was born on March 26, 1962 in Bridgeport, CT, the daughter of the late Louis Kristie and Betty Baker Kristie.

Susan was an avid reader. Her grandchildren were the light of her life and she often took them into her home. She was generous and kind and helped her family every chance she had.

Susan is survived by her daughter, Leah Margaret Reed and her husband Craig V. Bursey, Jr.; her son, Benjamin A. Reed; grandchildren, Gabriel Greenwood, Devlyn and Sage Iwasczyszyn, Solaria Bursey and Dominic Reed; brothers, Lewis “Kris” Kristie and his wife, Rose, and Thomas Kristie; nieces and nephews, Jillian, Vanessa, Justin and Andrew; and one great nephew. Susan was predeceased by her sister, Barbara Kristie.
