Thomas Mark Griffin, Sr.

Thomas Mark Griffin, Sr., 61, of Huntington, passed away on June 21, 2018. Thomas was born on April 4, 1957 in Milford, CT, to David W. Griffin, Jr. and Barbara J. Chandler Griffin Morrison.

Tom was very involved in his children’s activities as they were growing up, including camping, Cub Scouts and sports. He was enamored by his granddaughters and loved surprising them with balloons every time he saw them. Tom loved cooking and, of course, loved eating. He was an avid fisherman, reader and NASCAR fan. Tom enjoyed his career as a service technician and was most recently employed by The Office Works in Plainville, CT.

In addition to his parents, Thomas leaves behind his children: Nichole (Daniel) Richman, Thomas Mark Griffin, Jr. and Matthew Mark Griffin; grandchildren, Charlotte and Claire Richman; siblings: Nancy Trickey, Jill (David) Evans and David Griffin; and many friends and extended family. Thomas was predeceased by his stepfather, Roger Morrison.

Family and friends are invited to call on Monday, June 25, 2018 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the CODY-WHITE FUNERAL HOME, 107 Broad St., Milford, CT. A Funeral Service will commence at 7 p.m. at the funeral home. Contributions in Thomas’s memory may be made to the American Cancer Society, www.cancer.org.
