Thomas Alan Kovalik

Thomas Alan Kovalik, 65, of Plymouth, CT formerly of Milford, beloved husband of the late Josephine Kovalik, passed away on June 5, 2021. Thomas was born on August 25, 1955 in Bridgeport, CT to Albert and the late Dorothy Kovalik.

Thomas’s greatest hobby and passion was Harley Davidson Motorcycles. From riding his bike to tinkering on the engine, it’s how he spent much of his time. Tom owned his own business, TAK Machine Repair, where he continued his love of fixing different kinds of machines. He was currently employed by Georg Fischer Machining Soolutions as a field service engineer. He also enjoyed quadding/four wheeling, camping, hiking and shooting. His grandson, Parker, was his loyal and loving sidekick. They did all kinds of outdoor activities together, especially on Plymouth Lake where they would spend afternoons canoeing and swimming. Tom also faithfully attended Parker’s hockey games, where he was his biggest fan.

In addition to his father, Albert, Thomas is survived by his daughters, Krista Guarnieri and her husband Michael, Michelle Kovalik and Lauren Kovalik; grandson, Parker Guarnieri; sisters, Diana Ballaro and her husband Leonard and Karen Kovalik; sister-in-law, Victoria Demotses and her husband Pete; and numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and great nephews. He was predeceased by his brothers, Ronald and David Kovalik.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects on Monday, June 14, 2021 from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. at CODY-WHITE FUNERAL HOME, 107 Broad St., Milford, CT. A Memorial Service will commence at 6:30 p.m. at the funeral home. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for the repose of Tom’s soul on Tuesday, June 15, 2021 at 3 p.m. at Holy Apostles College, 33 Prospect Hill Rd., Cromwell, CT. The family would love if you rode your motorcycle in his memory.
