Thomas A. Mallon

Thomas A. Mallon, 65, of Milford, passed away peacefully on July 20, 2020 after a long illness. Born on February 20, 1955 in the Bronx, NY, he was the son of the late Thomas J. and Angela Larkin Mallon.   

Tom was an avid sports fan, following closely the goings on of New York sports teams, most specifically the Mets. He took great pride in recent years of caring for his elderly mother, seeing to her every day needs as her caregiver.

Tom leaves behind his siblings, Anne Acker, Kathryn (Richard) Mallon Way, Mary-Jean Mallon, and Daniel (Carolyn) Mallon; nieces and nephews, Steven, Rebecca, Richard, Colleen, Kevin, and Erica; great nephews, Joshua and Jackson; and extended family and friends. Tom’s family would like to recognize their cousin Frank Smith for his invaluable assistance with Tom’s care during his illness.  The family would also like to thank the staff of Smilow Cancer Hospital and the Milford Campus of Bridgeport Hospital for their care and compassion during Tom's illness.

All services will be at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Smilow Cancer Hospital, New Haven CT.
