Thomas Salvatore Petrovato

Thomas Salvatore Petrovato, 85, of Suffern, NY, beloved husband of 59 years to Jane A. (nee Phillips) Petrovato, entered into eternal rest on November 24, 2021.

Born on August 12, 1936 in Brooklyn, NY. He was the son of the late Bruno and Anna (nee Mollura) Petrovato.

Along with his wife, Tom leaves behind his children, Adria (Michael) Ward, John (Rebecca) Petrovato, and Gregory (Amanda) Petrovato; grandchildren, Evan Ward, Cosmo Petrovato, Emmett and Gus Petrovato and many extended family and friends.

Tom proudly served in the U.S Army National Guard 187th Artillery, Battery C, 2nd gun Battalion.

Tom attended NYU and New York School of Printing. He had 40 wonderful and successful years as an advertising executive in NYC.

Tom was very proud of his Italian American roots and always shared fond memories of growing up in Carol Gardens, Brooklyn.

Tom had a rich life enjoying his children and most of all, his grandchildren.

He will always remain our Hero.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, November 29, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at Saint Mary Church, 5 Hillhouse Ave New Haven, CT 06511. (MEET DIRECTLY AT CHURCH) Interment will take place at a later date.
