Vincent J. Lambiase, at the age of 90, finished his last round of golf with a hole in one on the ninth hole, cracked a corny joke, smiled and danced his way to heaven to be with his beloved wife Helen Darby Lambiase. "Big Vin" was born in Brooklyn, NY on March 2, 1927 to the late Alexander "Big Al" and Rose Lambiase. One of five children, Vinnie has two brothers Robert and William and was predeceased by his sisters Roseann and Mary.

Vinnie and Helen raised five children, Elizabeth (Les) Swanson, Vincent "Little Vin" (Linda) Lambiase, David (Ann) Lambiase, Matthew (Susan) Lambiase and Christopher (Wendy) Lambiase. Called Grandpa or Grandpoo, Vinnie was proud and loved all of his eleven grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

As per Vinnie’s request, a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, September 9, 2017 at 9:00 a.m. at St. Mary Church, 70 Gulf St., Milford, CT (MEET DIRECTLY AT CHURCH). Interment will follow at St. Lawrence Cemetery, 280 Derby Ave., West Haven, CT. Memorial donations in Vinnie's name may be made to the Devon Rotary Foundation, PO Box 421, Milford, CT to be used for a local scholarship. The family has been compassionately cared for by the CODY-WHITE FUNERAL HOME, Milford, CT.
