Virginia F. Bombardier

Virginia F. Bombardier, 87, of Milford, beloved wife of the late Armand Bombardier, passed away peacefully on May 25, 2021. Born on November 29, 1933 in Gardener, MA, she was the daughter of the late Donald and Rose Pettengill.  

Virginia graduated from Derby High School before attending secretarial school. She loved nature, her family reunions, and taking care of her granddaughter, Laurie.

Virginia leaves behind her daughter, Rhonda (Anthony) Calogine; grandchildren, Anthony (Iris) Calogine and Laurie (Michael) Booth; great-grandchildren, Jason Calogine, Kylie, Michael Jr., and Katie Booth; great-great-grandson, Theo Soto; siblings, Bruce Pettengill, Dale Pettengill, Donna Lindgren, Bonnie Pelaccia, and Roy Pettengill; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sister, Dolores “Loy” Wheeler and brother, Rodger Pettengill

The family would like to give a special thanks for everyone at Milford Healthcare for the care and compassion Virginia received while there over the last three years.

Services will take place at a later date. The family is being compassionately cared for by the staff at CODY-WHITE FUNERAL HOME, 107 Broad Street, Milford, CT 06460. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Mary Taylor Memorial United Methodist Church, 176 Broad St., Milford, CT.
