William L. Morin, 75, of Belleview, FL, formerly of Milford, passed away peacefully on April 16, 2018. Born on September 30, 1942, in Milford, CT, he was the son of the late Francis and Julia Russelli Morin.
Bill proudly served his country in the United States Navy. Prior to his retirement he worked as a manager at AVCO Textron-Lycoming for 32 years. He was thought to be the strongest man in the world by his grandchildren and could fix just about anything. He kept an immaculate yard, was an avid Giants fan and was a lifetime member of the VFW.
Bill is survived by the love of his life, Barbara Morin; his children, William (Amy) Morin, Lynn (Peter) Veccharelli, and Robert (Lynn) Morin; his grandchildren, Amanda and Alisha Veccharelli, Marissa (Michael) Branch, Mariah Morin, and William, Aidan and Abigail Morin; his great grandchildren, Leianna and Nevaeh Branch, and Serenitie and Se’Jon Dixon; Dalia Richardson; his sisters, Marianne (Dave) Verrelli, and Frances (Lewis) Klunk; several nieces and nephews; and his beloved cat, Stinky.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, April 23, 2018 at 10 a.m. at St. Ann Church (St. Raphael Parish), 501 Naugatuck Ave., Milford, CT (MEET DIRECTLY AT CHURCH). Burial with Military Honors will follow at St. Mary Cemetery, Buckingham Ave., Milford, CT. Friends and family may call on Sunday, April 22, 2018 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the CODY-WHITE FUNERAL HOME, 107 Broad St., Milford, CT.
