Zoltan Kegyes, 82, of Milford, beloved husband of nearly 60 years to Magda (Pataki) Kegyes, passed away peacefully on May 9, 2019. He was born on November 18, 1936 in Korosladany, Hungary to the late Antal and Julianna (Neuswender) Kegyes.
Zoltan retired after many years working for Worldwide Property Management. He loved fishing and being near the water. He also enjoyed vacationing in Florida and walking on the beach. Zoltan had a great sense of humor and will be greatly missed.
In addition to his wife, Magda, Zoltan is survived by his children, Zoltan (Rita) Kegyes and Csilla (Mark) Worthington; his grandchildren, Joseph Arthur, Jennifer (Louis) Cerullo, Stephen (Justin) Kegyes-Laprise, Anthony (Toni King) Kegyes and Daniel Kegyes; his great grandchildren, Lia, Louis III, and Avery; his sisters, Katalin Demeny and Maria Koletar; his niece, Lydia Demeny; his cat, Peek-a-boo; and several nieces, nephews and extended family members in Hungary. Zoltan was predeceased by one sister, two brothers, and two brothers-in-law.
A Graveside Service will be celebrated on WEDNESDAY, May 15, 2019 at 11:30 a.m. at Saint Mary Cemetery, Buckingham Ave., Milford, CT (MEET DIRECTLY AT CEMETERY). Family and friends may call on MONDAY, May 13, 2019 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the CODY-WHITE FUNERAL HOME, 107 N. Broad St., Milford, CT.
