Jane S. Grape, age 93, of Ridgewood, NJ, and beloved wife to the late Walter R. Foote, entered into eternal rest on Friday, July 25, 2014 at home surrounded by her loving family.  Born on March 24, 1921 in Baltimore, MD, she was the daughter of the late Morris and Emma Engel Scheffer.  Jane was an alumnus of William Paterson College where she received a BA in Sociology.  Prior to her retirement she was an office manager for an architecture firm. Known for her great sense of humor, Jane loved to dance and was an avid movie and Hollywood enthusiast, her favorite actors being Clark Gable and James Garner.  Jane will be remembered for her love and kindness and will be deeply missed.
She is survived by her daughter, Karen Quinn-Panzer and her husband Frank Panzer of Milford and her cherished grandchildren, Christopher and Nicholas Quinn.  In addition to her husband Walter, she was predeceased by her son, Kollin Foote and her second husband, George Grape.
Friends and family may call on Monday, July 28, 2014, from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm at the Cody-White Funeral Home, 107 Broad Street, Milford CT 06460.  Burial will be private.
