Dear Vivienne, Julie, Sally and Luke,
I am very sorry for your loss. Although I never had an opportunity to meet your husband (dad), I remember your family very well from THS. From all that everyone has said, your dad was a wonderful father, husband and colleague and he had a good sense of humor. I'm certain I would have enjoyed knowing him. I see a great resemblance between you as a boy and your dad , Luke, and I imagine it's even stronger now that you are a man.. Please accept my sincere condolences..The best parts of him will always be part of you. Mme. Coppola.

Dear Vivienne and family, please accept our condolences at the passing of Felix. With great pleasure we have always remembered our time together, first at UCT and thereafter Paediatrics at Frere Hospital, East London, SA. A gentleman with twinkling eyes and infectious laugh, a concerned, hard-working physician and a reliable colleague of integrity, we periodically tracked his course from the clinic to academia fascinated. We really value having known him in those years.

I just learned of Felix's passing. I am so sorry for your loss. I worked with him at Bayer and so enjoyed my time on mutual projects with him. I bumped into him at a store soon after his grandchilds birth - he appeared so happy being a grandfather! I will always remember him fondly.

Felix has been a true friend, a wonderful colleague and a leader for many in transitioning from academia to the pharmaceutical industry. Felix was a brilliant physician, a gentleman and a role model as a devoted husband and father. He was an inspiration in how he handled his final illness. His wit, humor and sage advice will be sorely missed by all those privileged to have known him.

I'm so sad to hear of your loss. Although I had never met Felix, it was evident to me by the way Viv's eyes sparkled when she mentioned Felix how deeply she loved and admired him. It truly saddens me that their journey Here has ended. Judging by the beautiful family their bond produced, he will be forever with them in their hearts and minds❤.sincerely sorry for you tremendous loss, Mary
