Francis B. Supple, 88, of Milford, beloved husband of the late Christine Supple, passed away unexpectedly on November 4, 2017, of natural causes at Regal Health Care Center in West Haven. Born on October 31, 1929 in Bridgeport, he was the son of the late Francis A. and Josephine Supple. Frank retired from Sikorsky Aircraft after 40 years of dedicated service. He was a member of the VFW in Milford and the Irish-American Community Center of East Haven. He loved to watch and cheer for his grandchildren in their many sport as well as the NY Yankees and Notre Dame Fighting Irish. Frank served in the US Army during the Korean War and served our country for 4 years. He loved to take pictures of his grandchildren and flowers. Frank is survived by his children, Joseph Supple of East Haven, Raymond Supple and his wife Marta, and Edward Supple and his wife, Cheryl, all of Milford; grandchildren, Kevin, Kelly, Brian, Christopher, Jessica, Shawn, Jeffrey, Jason, Brandon, Shane, and Jenna; sister, Joan Gause of Georgia; son-in-law, Charles Pettis of Branford; his great grandchildren, Kevin Jr., Jake, Conner, Carlie, Kayla, Jayden, Christopher, Alexandria, and Dean; step-great grandchildren, Ronnie, Ashley, and Madison; and many nieces and nephews, and dear friends. Frank was predeceased by his daughter, Carol Pettis; and brothers, William and Raymond. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on November 9, 2017, at 10:30 a.m. at Saint Agnes Church, 400 Merwin Ave., Milford (MEET DIRECTLY AT CHURCH). Interment will follow at Saint Michael’s Cemetery, 2205 Stratford Ave., Stratford.
