Frederick J. Cottle, 83, of Orange, beloved husband of Joan Donofrio Cottle, passed away peacefully on October 20, 2017. Frederick was born on May 24, 1934 in Bridgeport, CT to the late Joseph A. and Sara H. Cottle.

Frederick worked for over 25 years at Sikorsky as an Aerospace Engineer. He enjoyed attending hockey games and watching the NY Rangers play. He also liked working around the house and up keeping his yard. Frederick loved being around his family and taking care of his wife and daughters.

In addition to his wife, Joan, he is survived by his daughters, Danette (Christopher) Manzi, Anne Cottle (Emil Balusek, Jr.) and Edith (Edward) Butcher; grandson, Daniel Manzi; siblings, Joseph T. Cottle and Judith Kreuter; and nephew, Clifford Kreuter.

Friends and family are invited to call on Monday, October 23, 2017 from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. with a Prayer Service at 10 a.m. at the CODY-WHITE FUNERAL HOME, 107 Broad St., Milford, CT. Burial will follow at St. Michael Cemetery, 2205 Stratford Ave., Stratford, CT.
