Giovanna D’Angelo, 58, of New Haven, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family and friends after a brief illness on October 10, 2017.  Born on May 24, 1959 in Alife Campania, Italy, she was the daughter of the late Giuseppe and Maria Macchiarelli D’Angelo.   

Giovanna is survived by her longtime companion, Robert Baines; sister, Angela (Franco) Patrizi; nieces and nephews, Sabrina (Wendi) Avery-Onorato, Erica (Danny) Onorato-Martinez, Emilio Patrizi and Angelo Patrizi; great niece and nephew, Matteo and Chloe Martinez; several aunts, uncles, and cousins, and extended family in Italy.

Giovanna will be held forever in our hearts, until we meet again.
