John was a great friend. Best friend. Though we lived in different states for a number of years now, we could always pick up just like it was yesterday. We prayed together when times were tough. And shared great memories of being youth pastor's together and room mates. Will miss you my friend! So glad you're free from pain and now in the presence of the Lord. Worshipping at the feet of our sweet Lord.

I met John though Hubbell where we were both employed. John was not only a fellow employee but also a good friend. Often he would come to my office and we would just have great coversations about anything and everything. I am deeply saddened by his passing and will keep John's family in my thoughts and prayers as they grieve. This world's loss is heaven's gain. May he rest in peace.

I met John when we were in high school through work and we formed an instant friendship, we had many great times during our high school day's and the memories will always be with me. John was like a brother to me and in a time of need John and his family were there for me taking me in like a son and allowing me to live with them and for that I thank them very much my second family. Even when we grew up and went our separate ways in adult hood when we saw each other it was like the time or distance was never there , John was a true friend and has changed many lives he will truly be missed, a loss to everyone.

Milford has lost a great man, a true advocate for the students of Milford, an honest man, a dedicated man, a man of integrity, a man of conviction, a man of dignity, a family man, a man who is widely respected. A man I was lucky enough to call my friend. My heart is broken and saddened beyond belief. I can't wrap my head around the fact that I will not hear his voice or see his smile again. I am a better person for having known him. Both my son's, Hunter (15 years old) and Alex (14 years old) were upset and saddened when hearing of John's passing. John made an impact on my boys. If I can leave this earth with 1/1000 of a percent of the integrity and compassion that John has, I will consider myself lucky. My heart breaks for John's family, his wife Barb, children Rebekah and Ray and I pray for each and everyone of them and I thank them for sharing John with Milford as he served as a very vocal and dedicated Board of Ed member for the past two years. I will watch John and listen to him on the reruns of the Board of Ed meetings. The meetings just won't be the same.

John DeRosa was one of my former managers at Hubbell Inc where I am now retired and honored to have known John and learn from him the many things of my job. I respected John for who he was and what he did for me during his years as my manager! May his family find peace in all the memories he left behind! He will always be in my memories! RIP John DeRosa!

John was a passionate Christ follower who the Lord used to impact Southern CT in the 1990's through the Promise Keepers ministry. He was a 'man of integrity' and other men followed his lead. It was my honor to have him as a friend and colaborer

John pastored the Children along side Pastor Marcus Rooks at Cornerstine Christian Center from about 1992 to 2001. Our children grew spiritually in Love and Grace to our Lord Jesus during this time!

John was an inspiration to all who knew him..He could be a comedian at times but the one thing he never joked about was his love for the Lord..He was a great guy and I will surely miss him...
And to the family I know you are going to miss him terribly but, he is not in pain anymore..He is with his Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ and they are probably talking about a subject her loved and that was the Lords prayer...I wish I had that teaching that he gave us on that...It was terrific...
I will miss you John...I am so glad that I got to spend time with you, your family and good friends...I will never forget you...Love in Christ .. Rose Velez Dec 7 2015.
