Riad Y. Musallam, 65, beloved husband to Nuha Jeries Hanania Musallam, passed away with his family by his side on February 22, 2017. Born on February 6, 1952 in Jerusalem, he was the son of Lamia Jeries Musallam and the late Yousef Musallam.
Besides his loving mother and cherished wife, Riad leaves behind his adoring children, Yousef (Rawan) Musallam, Bishop Ramzi Musallam, Maia Musallam, Areen (Javier Sanchez) Musallam and Lamia Musallam; grandchildren, Amir Musallam, Destinn Musallam and Leah Sanchez; sisters, Remona Musallam, Abeer Sayage and Amal (Bassam) Bandak; brothers, Remon Musallam and Peter (Majeda) Musallam; sister-in-law, Samera Musallam; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his brother, Mahub Musallam.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, February 27, 2017, at 11:00 a.m. at Saint Andrew’s Church, 283 Bridgeport Ave., Milford, CT (MEET DIRECTLY AT CHURCH). The Mass will be presided over by his Eminence Archbishop Ramzi Musallam of the Palestinian Greek Catholic Orthodox Church. Interment to follow at Kings Highway Cemetery, 271 Cherry St., Milford, CT.
