I was so sorry to hear about Tom. I am now out of state so the news was a surprise to me. He was such a kind and loving man. He will certainly be sorely missed. He will be in my prayers as will your family. God be with you. - the Rev. Cynthia Knapp

I've been away from Connecticut for many years and shocked to hear of a life cut short. I was really young when I met Tom. I remember a young man with quiet quiet dignity. He hosted lovely, simple parties where he'd share his home with interesting conversation. Most of all I will continue to remember his sense of humor and kindness. I regret not staying in touch. Rest in peace Tom.

Tom, was the most gentle man I ever had the pleasure of knowing. He was protective, caring, and always watched out for me like an older brother. I will miss him very profoundly, especially the day he welcomed me to MCCNH. I am was honoured to be his friend, and will always cherish the friendship we developed. You are at peace now my friend and the rainbows in life are encircling your soul.

I was so sorry to hear about Tom's passing. He was our friend of 46 years. I remember Tom had the best stereo around, and the loudest. He taught me all about stereos and how they worked. He helped me through a very tough time in my life, and was always there with a big smile. Although we hadn't talked for a while, I still felt close to him. He always made me feel like I had just talked to him yesterday. He will be missed by everyone who knew him. My prayers are for you my old friend, and your family. RIP dear friend, I will see you again one day.

I am just speechless over Tom's passing... I've been in a state of denial since I found out... How can it be... My tried and true friend of over 35 years is gone... He was one of the 1st people that I met when I moved to New Haven way back in 1981. Even though we haven't been in touch lately, He was always there and just a phone call away...We both followed each others Lows and Highs on facebook and offered our support or congratulations to each other. I will miss him and grieve his loss right along with many others who were touched by him

I was shocked and heartbroken to hear of Tom's passing. I knew him through Metropolitan Community Churches for almost two decades, and have never met anyone who was more kind, trustworthy, and fair. My deepest sympathies to Andrew and to Tom's whole family. Tom made this world a better place and I will think of him whenever I see an Avanti on the road, or play a Gentle Giant album. Rest in peace, dear friend.

To all of Tom's loved ones, and there are many, I offer my deepest sympathy. Tom was one of the finest, warmest, most dedicated people I have ever known. I remember the multiple Metropolitan Community Church of New Haven potlucks that Tom hosted at his home, and the many years of service he provided to that church in many different roles. And to Tom, rest in peace, dear man.

To Tom's loved ones,
I have known Tom for nearly 20 years through MCC New Haven. He was a sweet and dear soul and a wonderful friend to many, including me. I will remember his laugh and his indomitable spirit. Most of all, I will remember his faithfulness, serving God and the church. Tom provided spirit and leadership that kept that faith community together for many years. I know by faith that I will see him again in Glory. Until then, I trust that my dear friend is enjoying the promise of resurrection, God's unconditional love, and the peace that surpasses all human understanding. May all who mourn his passing find comfort at this time. Pastor Aaron

One of your (and my) favorates
Yes - Awaken

High vibration go on
To the sun
Oh, let my heart dreaming
Past a mortal as me
Where can I be?

Wish the sun to stand still
Reaching out to touch our all being
Past all mortal as we
Here we can be
(He can be here)
(Be here now)
Here we can be

Suns | High | Streams | Through
Awaken gentle mass touch
(Gentle mass touch)
Awaken gentle mass touch
(Gentle mass touch)

Strong | Dreams | Reign | Here
Awaken gentle mass touch
(Gentle mass touch)
Awaken gentle mass touch
(Gentle mass touch)
Awaken gentle mass touch

(Star | Song)

Star | Song | Age | Less
Awaken gentle mass touching
(Gentle mass touch)
Awaken gentle mass touching
(Gentle mass touch)
Awaken gentle mass touching
Touching...
Touching...
Touching...

Workings of man
Set to ply out historical life
Reregaining the flower of the fruit of his tree
All awakening
All restoring you

Workings of man
Crying out from the fire set aflame
By his blindness to see
That the warmth of his being
Is promised for his seeing
His reaching so clearly

Workings of man
Driven far from the path
Rereleased in inhibitions
So that all is left for you
All is left for you
All is left for you
All is left for you NOW...

Master of images
Songs cast a light on you
Hark thru dark ties
That tunnel us out of sane existence
In challenge as direct
As eyes see young stars assemble

Master of light
All pure chance
As exists cross divided
In all encircling mode
Oh closely guided plan
Awaken in our heart

Master of soul
Set to touch
All impenetrable youth
Ask away
That thought be contact
With all that's clear
Be honest with yourself
There's no doubt
No doubt

Master of time
Setting sail
Over all our lands
And as we look
Forever closer
Shall we now bid
Farewell farewell...

High vibration go on
To the sun, oh let my heart dreaming
Past a mortal as me
Where can I be

Wish the sun to stand still
Reaching out to touch our own being
Past all mortal as we
Here we can be

Like the time I ran away
Turned around and you were standing close to me
Like the time I ran away
Turned around and you were standing close to me waken

I want to offer my sincerest condolences to Andrew and the rest of Tom's family. Tom was my "left hand" person (Tom and I are both left handed) while I was the Pastor at MCCNH. He is one of the nicest men I have ever known. He loved his family so much and it was always special when his mom and dad would attend church. Tom's passing leaves a big hole in many hearts, but each one of us is certainly richer for having known Tom. Rest in peace my friend. Much love, Rev. Susan and Anne

To Tom's family, I can't express enough heartfelt condolences to you. I have so many fond memories of Tom. One in particular was Carol & I sharing a seat in his Z & driving around. How we both fit in those seats is unimaginable now. I had some of the best times of my life with Tom over our 44 year friendship. May you be at peace now my dear friend.
