Erin Rebecca Sawicki, 39, of Milford, passed away on February 20, 2017. She was born on November 23, 1977 in Queens, NY to Walter and Joan Ellis Sawicki.

Erin graduated Foran High School in 1995 and worked at her father’s law office as a paralegal for several years. She was an extremely talented pianist and drummer who loved music and listening to 50’s music and disco. In her younger years, Erin enjoyed cheerleading and playing team soccer. She traveled to Spain for two weeks to visit friends. Her aunt and Godmother, Diane Sawicki, took her on a trip to France. She also loved spending time with her niece and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Erin leaves behind her brother, Geoffrey Sawicki and his wife Elizabeth; her nephews, Ryan Sawicki and his wife Amanda, and Matthew Sawicki; her niece and Goddaughter, Amanda Sawicki; her aunts, Diane Sawicki, Mary Lou Kresczki, Elizabeth Lacker and Barbara Stirnweis; her Godfather, Thomas Stirnweis; and many cousins and extended family members. Erin was predeceased by her paternal grandparents, Anna and Walter Sawicki; maternal grandparents, Theodore and Elizabeth Ellis; and uncle, Richard Sawicki.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, February 24, 2017 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Mary Church, 70 Gulf St., Milford, CT. (MEET DIRECTLY AT CHURCH) Interment will be private. Friends and family may call on Thursday, February 23, 2017 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the CODY-WHITE FUNERAL HOME, 107 Broad Street Milford, CT.
