Grandmarie, I love and miss you very much. I am so grateful for all the memories we had. My favorites are driving down to Florida and you teaching me how to count in portuguese, clapping and singing Bailinho da Madeira, rocking in the chairs at Cracker Barrels, and you making us listen to country music. The last time I saw you, you were happy surrounded by family and friends who love you very much. I will miss you here on Earth but I am not sad because you are in a wonderful place and I will see you again. I love you.

Oh, Marie, I am beyond sad that you are no longer here with us. You were an invaluable source of strength and support for me ... and taught me so very much ... throughout my entire life. How can our family possibly go on without you? God rest your soul, and I thank God so much for all the HILARIOUS memories you left us. You truly were one of a kind. I love you so much, and am so very grateful that you were my sister ... such an incredible blessing. Many kisses & hugs.
